2015年6月1日早上,非洲环保组织ANAW(非洲爱护动物组织)在肯尼亚内瓦沙湖附近的志愿者营地又迎来了一拨野保志愿者。对于经常组织志愿者在这里清除盗猎者捕兽陷阱的ANAW来说,这一次的志愿者有些特殊:30个人的志愿者团体里,有16名是经由中南屋组织来的中国人。不出意外的话,这是在非洲的中国人第一次参加这种类型的野保志愿者工作。 在肯尼亚大草原集合并趁着没干活形象比较好拍了张集体照后,大家开始三两分开,在草原上寻找这次清扫行动的目标:捕兽铁丝陷阱。 铁丝陷阱往往在丛林里野兽常走的小道上布置,动物一旦踩入或者脖子套入,越挣扎就会越紧。 发现了铁丝陷阱后,我们的志愿者会用钳子剪断它们,并且尽量带走。 铁丝陷阱我们看到了两种:一种是细铁丝,在树丛里。另一种是粗铁丝,埋在水源附近的地里,动物一旦踩入,再也无法挣脱。对于后者,志愿者们需要通过挖掘来排除。 你是不是觉得这些铁丝网造成不了多少伤害? 你错了。
